North London giants Arsenal are not short on strikers at the moment but they are all deemed unreliable for different reasons. Club skipper Pierre-EmerickAubameyang, England junior international Eddie Nketiah and Frenchman Alexandre Lacazette are the strikers available to manager Mikel Arteta, while Arsenal Academy graduate and promising striker Folarin Balogun was recently promoted into the first team this summer.

Ex-Lyon star Lacazette has one year to go on his Arsenal contract and he could leave the club this summer if there’s a suitable offer for him. For Pierre-EmerickAubameyang, the Gabonese national team player has been inconsistent for the Gunners since the start of last season. Arsenal captain Pierre-EmerickAubameyangshowed that his inconsistent form in front of goal is not ending anytime soon by missing at least three sitters in the last friendly game against Rangers on Saturday. On his part, Nketiah is deemed too young and inexperienced to lead the Arsenal attack for a long period of time.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta wants to add at least one new striker to his squad and the aforementioned Abraham is one of his targets. Chelsea are not ready to sanction a move for the player unless their £40m.The England international earns £3m on a yearly basis at Stamford Bridge. He scored six goals in 22 league games for the Blues last season before being frozen out of the first team by manager Thomas Tuchel. His non-activity towards the end of last season prompted him to be left out of England squad to Euro 2020.
